Thank you to everyone who supported our Dinosaur Day!

Last Saturday, 19th June, we celebrated another Dinosaur Day – our annual fundraising day inspired by Cameron Mathieson, the little boy behind our successful Stop the DLA Takeaway in Hospital campaign.

Cameron loved dinosaurs – his favourite being a green triceratops called Troy – so every year we encourage everyone to join us and  bake dinosaur-themed goodies.

Contact supports families like the Mathiesons to ensure that they can make every moment count, whatever the disability, and live life to the fullest extent they can.

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who got involved in Dinosaur Day 2021.

We saw some roar-some baked goodies and dinosaur costumes on social media, and we are really touched by all your amazing efforts!

A special thank you to Jancett Nursery (whose children had the snazziest dino costumes in town!), Bolt Burdon and Kemp (who held a Zoom bake-off), Jurassic Grill (who had a dinosaur-themed pancake day), and Paradise Park (who sold some amazing dinosaur shortbread biscuits at their coffee shop) – we simply couldn’t do it without supporters like you!

Win a free copy of ‘Do you love dinosaurs’ PLUS an original drawing from the author!

In case you didn’t know, we are running an exciting giveaway on our parent carer Facebook group, offering you a chance to win a free copy of the book ‘Do you love dinosaurs?’ as well as an original drawing by the author Matt Robertson.

All you have to do is post a picture of your child’s best dino drawing, dinosaur costume, dino-themed bake or any other dino-related arts and crafts.

The giveaway closes on 30 June, so make sure you participate today!
