The Helpline Assistant will primarily use live chat to guide website visitors to online advice and information. You will answer questions and enquiries from parents of disabled children -Monday to Friday during office hours. You will also support the helpline parent advisers by responding to email and online enquiries as well as providing administrative support to team. This is a new role and will be based at our Central London office in EC1 (currently home-based).
What we are looking for:
You will have experience of using live chat or online/email platforms to respond to clients or customers. You will be able to type accurately and communicate in writing with sensitivity. You will be able to confidently navigate websites to identify relevant information to share with chat users. You will have a good understanding of the issues and concerns that affect UK families with disabled children. You will be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
