Important information about Contact services in the Midlands

Sadly funding for our work in the Midlands is ending and our regional office will be closing as a result on 30th April. We will continue to fundraise for Contact in the Midlands so that hopefully we can offer more support in future. We are also developing our business model in order to generate more unrestricted funds so if you are a professional and would like to book a workshop on a paid for basis please get in touch with Helen.Davies@Contact.org.uk  who will be able to help.

Please be assured that Contact is still very much committed to supporting local families and you can continue to get the support, help and advice you need from Contact's national services which are available to families wherever they live:

  • Our Live Chat can help you find information on your rights to services and support and our online shop offers a range of practical products for families with a disabled child.
  • Our online community is now open for business. Jointo chat to other families about anything and everything that affects you and your child in a safe and trusted space.
  • Order your free copy of our Helpful Guide for Families with Disabled Childrentohelp you navigate your way through what can be a confusing system of support and points you to more in-depth help on our website: https://e-activist.com/page/13234/subscribe/1

If you can't find the information you need or answer to your questions on our website, call our free helpline on 0808 808 3555 between 930-5pm Monday to Friday or email us at helpline@contact.org.uk

Local events

Contact organises a number of FREE workshops for parents and carers of disabled children.

Our workshops up to Easter are now fully booked and we have no further workshops scheduled at the moment.

However, we will be running the Brighter Beginnings series of workshops in the West Midlands and the East Midlands for parents of children aged 0-8. The details have not been confirmed as yet, but please check back here, or contact Helen Davies, our Early Years Project Manager on 07458 046073 for further details.
