All about diagnosis

Our diagnosis section is for parents going through the process of trying to get a diagnosis for their child. As well as advice on how to go about getting a diagnosis, the section explains the support available for children who do not have a diagnosis.

Special educational needs (SEN) support in the early years

Childcare providers - also called 'early years settings' - must take steps to include and support children with SEN and medical conditions. This is the case whether the setting is a childminder, a pre-school, a nursery or any other type of mainstream childcare provider.
