Charitable trusts and foundations

Trusts and foundations play an invaluable role in helping us provide advice, information and support to families of disabled children, whatever their disability and wherever they are in the UK.

If you are a trustee, have contact with a trust or you're thinking of setting one up, there are various ways you can make a huge impact on the lives of families with disabled children.

Donate where it's most needed

You can make a general donation to be used wherever it is most needed.

Support a particular geographical area or region

We work across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with smaller intensive schemes in London. You can ask us to direct your gift to an area, city or local office of your choosing.

Donate to a specific area of support

You can choose to donate to a particular area of support, including, for example:

  • welfare rights and entitlement advice
  • challenging behaviour and sleep problems
  • relationships
  • bullying
  • transition into adult services.

Or support our drop-in centres in hospices and hospital.

Support one of our services

You can fund one of the services that underpin all our work, for example:

  • our freephone helpline giving advice on all aspects of caring for a disabled child
  • our information resources and website.
