Kathleen’s giving story

When a car accident killed her fiancée, Kathleen Barnett was left very seriously disabled. Her stepmother Ivy devoted her entire life to Kathleen’s care.

When she passed away, Kathleen left a gift of £50,000 to Contact in memory of herself and her stepmother. In the last year alone, their legacy went towards giving 1,000 families and professionals in the West Midlands area vital financial information that helped keep families afloat.
