Regional events

Our activities are for families with disabled children in a particular area.

Due to funding, some of our activities are available only for parents in a particular area. This helps us ensure we’re here for harder-to-reach families, too. You can also visit our family events and workshops page to see what else we’ve got on.

The workshops are held over Zoom and on a variety of topics: Wellbeing for parent carers, Understanding Sensory Processing, Supporting your Child’s Sleep and Encouraging Positive Behaviour. Hear from an expert, ask questions, meet other parents and share ideas.

Forest Schools with Woodland Classroom for families in Wales

This July, join James and Lea, Forest School Leaders from Woodland Classroom live on Zoom for fun activity ideas which the whole family can enjoy outdoors.

Each week they’ll be hosting games, craft ideas and activities all designed to help your family get reconnected with nature and your kids will be set an outdoor challenge to complete, and then we will share what we’ve done together during the live sessions.

This event is for families of children 0 – 19 with additional needs and disabilities (no diagnosis necessary). Due to funding, this event is for families in Wales only.

Watch the Woodland Classroom welcome video.

And watch parent Mandy talk about the huge difference our forest school events have made to her family.
