What we do

Family work

Family workers are available for families with children and young people aged 0– 25 years

We will support parents with: information and advice regarding your disabled child’s needs, support and advice with welfare benefits: Disability Living Allowance ( DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applications and mandatory reconsiderations, grants for families, benefits support for disability elements and universal credit, and if appropriate Blue Badge applications,  understanding the diagnosis, referrals to specialist, statutory and voluntary services, information about what’s available in Lewisham, transition support, emotional support, family linking,  joint working with other services and information about leisure and respite opportunities. 

Coffee mornings

Coffee mornings are run though the year.  Sometimes we do these Coffee Mornings in partnership with other local groups and schools across the borough.

Holiday events for families

Funding permitted, we run Family Events throughout the year.  These events are open to all members of the family to attend for the whole family to attend.  Please register with us to receive more information.
