Carer’s Allowance supplement paid to carers in Scotland today
Friday 18th December 2020
Carers in Scotland should receive a payment of the Carer's Allowance supplement today, Friday 18 December.
The Carer's Allowance supplement is a lump sum payment of £230.10 made twice a year. To qualify for this most recent payment you need to be a carer in Scotland who was getting Carer's Allowance on 12 October.
So long as this applies to you, the payment should be made to you without you needing to make any application.
If you were getting Carer's Allowance on 12 October and do not automatically receive the supplementary payment, please contact Social Security Scotland.
