Choosing a secondary school for your child? Our parent advisers answer your questions before the 31 October deadline
Friday 4th October 2019
Some children need more support than others to gain as much as they can from their education. They might need extra help with reading, understanding or talking for example; or they might find it hard to manage their emotions or have problems developing physical skills.
Your child may have been diagnosed with a medical condition or disability that affects their learning, and it may be clear from professional assessments what kind of educational help they need. They may have no diagnosis at all. Or, it could be that you simply suspect that your son or daughter finds some things harder than other children of the same age.
Whatever your family's situation, you may have additional questions or worries about which school is best. That's why we are inviting you to ask our parent advisers any questions you have about this important decision at a special Q&A session focusing on choosing a school on Wednesday 9 October from 2-5pm.
If you have any questions about choosing a school, our team of parent advisers will be waiting to answer your questions on our Facebook page next Wednesday 9 October from 2-5pm. Put the date in your diary!
