Concerned about your child’s attendance at school? Ask our experts on Facebook this Wednesday 20th March
Monday 18th March 2019
We are running a Facebook Q&A session this Wednesday, 20th March between 2-5pm, when you can ask our education experts any questions or worries you have about your child's attendance at school.
Maybe you need more information about what help is available if your child is unable to attend school for medical reasons for example or perhaps you have a child who is about to go back to school after a long absence and you'd like advice about what the school should be doing to support this?
To ask your question simply log into our Facebook page on Wednesday 20th March between 2-5pm and join the conversation.
Jill Hardman, one of our Helpline education specialists says: "We've seen a sharp rise in enquiries about attendance issues in the past year. It is up 46% since 2015 and has been one of our top 5 issues since October 2017. Wednesday's Facebook Q&A session is a great opportunity for anyone worried about their child's attendance for medical or other reasons or how to address any concerns they have with the school, to get immediate, expert advice and help. We look forward to answering your questions!"
