Good luck to our incredible fundraisers this weekend!

Friday 27th September 2019

We've got some amazing fundraisers going the extra mile this weekend to support our vital work!

Our adventurous group of skydivers, led by our superstar supporter jockey Robbie Walsh, below, will be jumping from a jaw-dropping 10,000 this Sunday 29 of September across the Salisbury Plains.

Jockie Robbie Walsh

Robbie will be fundraising for us for the next two years, and this is the first of his many adventures to help Contact continue supporting thousands of families with disabled children in the UK.

Robbie has enlisted a  few friends from Dominion Stables along with his trainer Ian Williams to take part in the challenge. Jockey Bradley Furniss, who will be taking part in the jump alongside Robbie said he wanted to support us "because Contact is a great cause! I have friends and family members affected by disability and I would like to do my bit to help".

If you would like to help Robbie and the team achieve their fundraising target, please visit his JustGiving Page.

And Helen from Essex is running the Maldon half-marathon on Sunday for Contact.

Helen was inspired to run for Contact by her running pals Una, who works for Contact on our campaigns, and Danielle, who has used the Contact helpline a number of times after having premature twins.

Best of luck to everyone!
