Join us for Dinosaur Day 2019!

Monday 25th March 2019

At Contact we are gearing up for our most ROAR-some fundraising event of the year. Dinosaur Day 2019 will be held on Wednesday 19th June and we are calling on supporters to get involved.

Dinosaurs may be extinct, but the challenges families with disabled children face aren't. Your support will help us to help more families with the challenges they face.

How to get involved

Getting involved is simple: organise a dino-tastic cake sale with a prehistoric theme and donate the funds raised. Channel your inner Mary Berry or Liam Charles for the day all for a good cause. We have a fun and inspiring fundraising pack to ensure your cake sale is a roaring success.

The inspiration behind Dinosaur Day

Cameron Mathieson was a boy who had both Cystic Fibrosis and Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and sadly passed away when he was five years old after spending 3 of those years in hospital.

Cameron's mum Lynette explains why they are the biggest fans of Contact's Dinosaur Day:

"Contact supports families like ours at some of the most challenging times, including when a child is in hospital. Like us, they believe disabled children and their families should be supported to live life to the fullest extent they can.

Cameron loved dinosaurs - or as he called them, Dowsers - and his favourite Dowser was a green triceratops called Troy. And that's why we are huge supporters of Contact's Dinosaur Day. Whilst Cameron's life was short, his impact was huge. Please join us on 19th June to ensure more children like Cameron and their families are given the chance to live life to the full."
