Make disabled children a priority - sign Contact's general election pledge demands
Thursday 3rd October 2019
The chances are that a general election could happen before the end of the year.
So this is your opportunity to influence what could be in the party manifestos.
Contact would like to see all political parties pledging to:
1. Stop the cuts to child disability payments under Universal Credit
This would benefit more than 100,000 disabled children across the UK
2. Close the school transport loophole.
This would benefit around 50,000 disabled youngsters.
3. Make disabled children a priority by giving back the £1.5 billion of support owed to disabled children and by improving entitlements to health and social care for every family
This would benefit more than 1 million disabled children and their families.
