Our free parent workshops are now virtual - book your place today!
Monday 22nd June 2020
Although we can't meet you face-to-face at the moment, we don't want you to miss out on the support you might need from us during this challenging time.
That's why we're now running our programme of popular, free parent workshops virtually!
Our series of virtual workshops give parents the chance to share their experiences and learn from other parents too as part of a small group. They cover some of the topics you told us you are most concerned about including:
- Money Matters: An overview of key benefits you might be entitled to like Disability Living Allowance and Carers Allowance, grants that are available and dispelling some of the myths around benefits.
- Managing your child's sleep: To help you gain a better understanding of the sleep processes, why sleep problems may occur and possible causes and solutions.
- Encouraging Positive Behaviour: Helping you understand more about why children with additional needs behave the way they do alongside strategies for handling difficult situations in a calm, stress-free manner.
- Wellbeing for you as a parent carer: To understand what stress is and how it affects you and identify new ways of coping with stress and reducing stress levels.
Booking is easy. On our workshops webpage, simply click the link on the workshops you would like to attend.
We'll be adding new dates all the time, so if you can't currently see a workshop at a time that suits you, please keep checking.
