PM: Stop Universal Credit cuts

Thursday 12th October 2017

Under Universal Credit, more than 100,000 families with disabled children will be worse off. This is because child disability payments are being cut by more than 50% for most disabled children.

Despite widespread recent calls for the roll-out of Universal Credit to be suspended, yesterday saw the Universal Credit full service extended to several new areas.

We support calls to suspend the rollout of the full service. However, even if these problems with delayed payments are resolved, Universal Credit will still not be fit for purpose.

We're calling on the Prime Minister to reverse cuts to child disability payments under Universal Credit. Join us by signing our petition today.
