Robbie Walsh is the singing jockey!
Monday 12th August 2019
Our fundraising jockey Robbie Walsh has become "the singing jockey", promoting his fundraising efforts by recording a cover of Shane Ward's That's My Goal.
Robbie is taking part in a group skydive along with his trainer, Ian Williams and several other friends from Dominion Stables. The group hopes to raise an amazing £10,000 to support our work, and we wish them the best of luck in their fantastic adventure!
And Robbie will continue fundraising for Contact over the next two years. He'll be riding in Contact branded silks and taking part in a number of fundraising activities.
Robbie heard about Contact through his family's experience of caring for his young son Leighton, who has an extremely rare medical condition called Congenital Hyperinsulinism. As a result, Robbie understands how important it is for families to get support from charities like Contact. This inspired him to get involved and support the work we do.
If you would like to help Robbie achieve his fundraising target for us, please visit his JustGiving Page.
Best of luck to Robbie and the team!
