Mirror Article About Contact 's Universal Credit Campaign

We're so pleased that some of you saw our Universal Credit campaign in the Daily Mirror last Saturday.

With your help our campaign to stop the £175 million cut to child disability payments under Universal Credit is reaching hundreds of MPs across all political parties.  In response MPs are also taking action by raising the matter with the Government Minister.

Thank you so much for your support.  It's not too late to email your MP with our ready-made letter.

With growing concern over Universal Credit it's hardly surprising that our Counting the Costs research found 7 in 10 families are worried about Universal Credit.

It's important to seek advice and our helpline can answer all your questions. If you don't believe me, this is what Daniel said to our independent researcher after speaking to Lisa, one of our parent advisers, on our helpline:

"I was amazed to be able to get such detailed advice over the telephone. I was so impressed with your knowledge about my rights. I'm so relieved that I called Contact and was able to speak to you, as otherwise my family would have missed out on so much. I felt so reassured after I spoke to you.

"Its great knowing that there is someone there to help, and who genuinely wants to ensure I get everything I am entitled to. There are so many challenges in looking after a disabled child it makes me feel that there is someone who is there who is on my side."
