Wheels and Wellies Walk

Spin your wheels and pull on your wellies for Contact next February!

 Wheels And Wellies Photo

Wrap up warm, pack your umbrella and get ready to splash around Gateshead's Saltwell Park on Sunday 25 February 2018 for Contact, the charity for families with disabled children.

Our first sponsored Wheels & Wellies Walk will take you, your friends and family on a 1 or 3km wheelchair and pushchair accessible loop around Gateshead's Saltwell Park. Along the way there'll be puzzles and games for everyone taking part and the money you raise will help us reach more families with the advice and support they need as soon as they need us.

Want to go the extra mile to support Contact?

  • Raise £100 for us through sponsorship and you'll receive a limited edition T-shirt.
  • Raise the most sponsorship money overall and you'll receive a special prize from us to say thank you!
  • Jazz up your wellies, wheelchair or pushchair for the Wheels & Wellies Walk and take part our decorating competition on the day.

There is no minimum sponsorship required to take part in our Wheels & Wellies Walk, but we would love if each person aimed to raise a minimum of £50 (but as long as you help raise money for Contact, we don't really mind!).
