There are hundreds of thousands of children with additional or complex needs in the UK. Their families typically have lower-than-average incomes while also facing higher living costs as a result of the costs of living with disability. Many are entitled to access the benefits system.
This course provides an understanding of the range of financial help families with disabled children can access and demystifies the benefits system.
This course is designed to support the parents of disabled children who may be entitled to support from the benefits system, or who are otherwise experiencing financial difficulty as a consequence of the extra costs associated with raising a child with additional needs.
The course has been designed by our expert welfare rights team, who have more than 30 years’ experience working with the benefits system. It will be delivered by our qualified and experienced Contact a Family practitioners.
This course can be tailored to meet your individual needs. To discuss specifics, please contact our team using the contact details provided below.
We also have information on our website about money and benefits.
To allow individual issues to be raised and discussed, family workshops are limited to a maximum of 12 places priced at £625 (exc VAT) for a group booking.
