Looking for storybooks that feature children with disabilities?

The British Library have published a useful resource for parent carers, children and young people to find books featuring disabled children.

Anyone can download the British Library’s Find your voice teachers’ guide to discover excellent examples of the portrayal of disability in children’s literature.

The books on the Find Your Voice was been put together by Joanna Sholem who has hemiplegia and is Ambassador for Inclusive Minds. The list includes books in which Joanna saw herself.

The Find Your Voice pdf also includes links to other websites for more recommendations.
