Are you brave enough to be Styled by the Kids?
Thursday 21st September 2017
This 27 October is Styled by the Kids day, when the children are put firmly in charge of the nation's wardrobes and dictate how the adults in their lives dress for the entire day - all to raise money for families with disabled children.
By letting the kids use their flair for fashion to style you, you can help raise money for Contact! Whether you are heading to work, doing the weekly shop or going to the park, let the kids choose your outfit on 27 October - and style it out with pride!
How do I get involved?
Sign up today on our Styled by the Kids webpage. Once you're in, we'll send you your Styled by the Kids guide with everything you need. Included in the pack is a fundraising guide, stickers to wear on the day and inspiring ideas to make the day fun for everyone.
To raise money simply set up an online giving page - read advice on this - and ask your friends and family to sponsor you for being Styled by the Kids.
But don't worry if fundraising is new for you - we'll be with you every step of the way.
What your support means
There is a desperate lack of services and support for the 620,000 parents in the UK who care for a disabled child.
As a result, families face a huge range of challenges and many feel isolated and alone. Coping with extra financial costs and practical challenges can put an enormous strain on daily life, with families more likely to face emotional issues, stress and anxiety.
We are here for all families with disabled children - supporting families, bringing families together and helping families take action for others.
