Hosting DinoDay in your school or nursery

Lots of children dressed up in dinosaur costumes as part of DinoDay

Every June we celebrate DinoDay, Contact’s annual awareness and fundraising event.

During the month, hundreds of children will take on our DinoDay Stomp & Roar Challenge! We’re also inviting schools and nurseries to join the fun by wearing green or donning their favourite dinosaur outfit.

Register your school or nursery’s interest today and we’ll send you a bunch of free activities to make DinoDay a roaring success! There’s an illustrated story about dinosaurs, colouring sheets, a mask-making exercise, and a sensory processing themed activity to run in class. We’ll also provide you with resources to help you support children with additional needs and their families.

Win £250 worth of sensory equipment and toys!

Every school or nursery that raises money will be entered into our competition to win a £250 sensory classroom kit from our non-profit shop Fledglings.

Why are we raising money?

After learning that a child has a disability, families face a complex journey to find support. This year, with the added challenges of the cost of living crisis and the underfunding of public services, these battles have become even tougher. That’s why the services we provide for families are more crucial than ever.

The money raised from DinoDay will help us change the lives of families with disabled children by offering expert information and advice, emotional support and family days out.
