If you care for a child with a rare condition or you represent a rare condition support group, please come along to our free online event in November:
The reality of rare: caring for your child, looking after yourself on Thursday 12 November, 10am -12:30pm.
Caring for a child with a rare condition can bring unique challenges – from navigating services to supporting your child’s mental health and wellbeing, while remembering to look after yourself too. That’s why this year’s online conference will focus on the importance of family wellbeing.
Register your free place today to hear from speakers with expertise and lived experience, including perspectives on:
• Mental health and rare conditions
• Looking after your own wellbeing as a parent carer
• There will also be an opportunity to help develop Contact’s Rare Conditions guide and shape our future resources for families.
And if you help run a rare condition support group it will also a great opportunity to connect with other support groups and learn about new resources you can share with your families.
