Meet Hattie Mander, the 7-year-old fundraising superstar who bravely cut her long locks to help raise vital funds for Contact and the families with disabled children we support!

Hattie has an autistic cousin called Arthur who Contact supports, as well as other family members supported by Young Epilepsy. She wanted to help more families with additional needs like theirs, so she decided to fundraise for the two charities by braving a big hair chop.

And her courage paid off: Hattie managed to raise a whopping £700 through her fundraiser – and even donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust, which provides free wigs to children with cancer.

Thank you, Hattie, for working so hard to raise vital funds for Arthur and all the other families with disabled children who rely on our advice and support!

“We are very proud of her kindness and willingness to help others.”

Sarah, Hattie’s mum
