Face-to-face fundraising

Helping us speak to many more supporters than we could do ourselves

We use face-to-face fundraisers as a great way to raise awareness of our work in the community. You may have talked to one of our fundraisers at your door, on the street, at a shop or at an event. The fundraising agencies we work with are specialists in what they do and believe in our work.

Face-to-face fundraisers who represent Contact will:

• Have a photo ID badge.
• Have a letter allowing them to collect Direct Debits on our behalf.
• Be wearing something with the Contact logo on it.

Our fundraisers are as passionate as us when they’re talking to new supporters, and they hold themselves to the same high standards. We expect all our fundraisers to treat you with respect and always comply with fundraising regulations.

We have a dedicated fundraising team who ensure the quality of our fundraisers’ work. They:

• Run regular training sessions.
• Observe our fundraisers at work to check everything is going well.
• Welcome your feedback at fundraising@contact.org.uk
