At Contact, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the insight and support of parent carers just like you.

We are now looking for 3 new people to join our board of trustees and play a crucial role in setting the direction of our fantastic charity.

We’re proud to support families across the UK – particularly during the last 2 years, which have been challenging for so many. And we’re also in the second year of our ambitious new strategy, Transforming Lives Together, with the aim of reaching more families earlier in their journey. With a clear strategy in place, a solid financial base and a well-led senior management team, Contact’s board of trustees is supportive, challenging and passionate about the work Contact does.

Our board of trustees already has a diverse mix of backgrounds and experience. However, we are keen to strengthen diversity and we would be particularly keen to hear from people from Black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds.

We’re also looking for people with specialist skills in any of the following areas:

  • Finance – charity and commercial
  • Fundraising and philanthropy
  • Digital, communications and marketing
  • Legal and property

Interested in applying?

If you are a parent carer and think you could have the skills and qualities we’re looking for, please take a look at the job advert and details about how to apply on the Charity People website.

The deadline for applications is 9am on 10 February.
