Did you know that many families with disabled children in the UK are eligible for grants, discounts and other sources of financial support that can help fund essential needs and bring living costs down?

They can be used to help pay for a range of things – such as housing adaptations, specialist equipment, therapies and even holidays – as well as to help with transport costs, utility bills, education and health expenses and more.

Facebook Q&A on 14 July

Want to find out more about what financial support your family could apply for? Join our helpline advisers for an exclusive Q&A on 14 July between 10–11.30am over at Contact’s private Facebook Group for parent carers.

If you’re not a member of the group, make sure to answer the 3 membership questions when you request to join. Our moderators will not be able to add you to the group otherwise.

The Q&A session will be carried out entirely in writing, meaning you can ask your question and then pop back later at a time that suits you to see what our team answered. Some questions are more complex and may take us longer to answer, but don’t worry: all questions asked between 10 and 11.30am will be answered.
